Indiana Jones and the Fall Festival

Tonight was the Fall Fall Festival for Joshua's school. Of course he wanted to dress as Indiana Jones this year.
His costume is complete with a real leather bull whip, which he has already played with until it is ragged. He was very proud of his costume and I have to say, it was by far the best one I saw at the school tonight, good thing I'm so impartial.
The Festival activities included a miniature horse ride and a petting zoo with pigs, lambs, goats, chickens and the sweetest most adorable rabbits you have ever seen!

I loved them if you can't tell!

There were also a few games inside of the school and of course popcorn, pizza and soda. At the very end, in an attempt to get rid of our tickets, I put Joshua in the cake walk circle, he was hoping for a cupcake. Wouldn't you know it, he won an entire cake! As we were walking home Joshua said, "This was the best day ever." I had to agree!

Earlier today I had a parent-teacher conference at Joshua's school. His teacher commented on what a sweet and kind little boy Joshua is. She said she is amazed by his manners and how he says, "Yes Ma'am" and "No Ma'am". She said he is very concerned for the well being of others and that all of the kids like him very much. This came to no surprise to me, but I wanted to brag because I sure am proud of my little boy!

What A Zoo!

I had to work this weekend in Fort Worth, but the guys didn't let that keep them from having some fun.
Scott took Joshua to the Austin Zoo on Sunday as a surprise.

As you can see, Joshua fit right in! He got to feed and pet many of the animals and even hang out with them!

Until Next time, Cheers to you!

Character Of The Month

Today Joshua was awarded "Character of the Month" at his school. He was recognized for his Citizenship, Responsibility, Respect, Trustworthiness, Caring and Fairness. I got to go have lunch with him at school today and bring him McDonald's for lunch (his request).
We are very proud of him and we are going to take him out for pizza and games tonight to celebrate!
WAY TO GO JOSHUA!!!
